Title:
TRANS-THERMO RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6030361
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To achieve a better ink recording on a paper excessively rugged by arranging a magnetic force generating means opposite to the side facing the ink layer of the printing paper to apply an absorbing force on an ink film in the direction of the printing paper.

CONSTITUTION: A magnetic material is contained in an ink layer 51 of a trans- thermo ink film 13A while a magnet 52 is arranged as a magnetic force generating means opposite to the side facing the ink layer 51 of a printing paper 18 and an attraction force works on the ink layer 51 in the direction of the arrow by a magnetic field of the magnet 52. Therefore, the ink layer portion 51' of the ink layer 51 melted by heat with a heat generating body 12 of a thermal head 11 become fluidized and attracted to the paper 18 by a interaction between the magnetic field of the magnet 52 and the magnetic body in the ink layer portion 51' until it reaches a dent 32 on the surface of the paper to effect an ink recording.
