PURPOSE: To shorten operating time and to improve the operation rate of a device by switching a picture at a time when a customer issues an instruction from a customer operating part.

CONSTITUTION: A main control part 15 issues the instruction so as to enable selective input of either cash deposite (receipt), payment, balance inquiry, or transfer to be performed to a sub control part 27, and simultaneously, displays the guidance text of a guidance part 29 on the screen 5 of a CRT on a control panel 1 under the control of a display control part 13. Then, the content of a picture being displayed on an operation guide picture is switched based on the instruction from the customer operating part. In other words, an operation is performed so that the picture can be switched immediately after an unfamiliar customer issues the instruction from an input part designated specially to the customer operating part of an automatic machine. Thereby, waiting time can be eliminated, and the operating time of the unfamiliar customer can be shortened.
