There is provided a transfer device 1 which comprises: a first holding part 3 for holding one end of a sheet-like mold M; a second holding part 5 for holding the other end of the sheet-like mold M; a tensile force imparting part 7 for imparting a tensile force to the mold M held by individual holding parts 3 and 5; and an attitude adjusting part 9 for adjusting the attitude of the second holding part 5 with respect to the first holding part 3 in order to prevent creases from being generated in the mold M to which a tensile force is imparted by the tensile force imparting part 7.
