To surely and stably perform changing of the transfer direction and the carrying of a photosensitive material by stabilizing contact pressure between the turn roller and the endless belt of a transfer direction changing device for the photographic sensitive material in an automatic developing machine.

The changing device 10 has the turn roller 11 and the endless belt 12, a gear 13 is attached to a roller shaft on the end part of the roller 11, the bevel gear 13a of the gear 13 is engaged with the bevel gear 15 of a driving wheel 14 perpendicularly arranged to the roller 11, and the roller 11 rotates by the rotation of th shaft 14. The belt 12 is made of ethylene propylene type rubber, to put it concretely, the belt 12 is obtd, by vulcanizing and molding ethylene propylene rubber or ethylene propylene diene rubber. Since the belt 12 is hardly elongated in length in comparison with the original design size of the belt 12 in a processing solution component, the contact pressure between the roller 11 and the belt 12 is stabilized, so that the change of the transfer direction and the carrying of the photosensitive material can be surely and stably performed.
