Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an area occupied by a line by pulling out of and carrying to a predetermined position a pallet carriage from a tunnel kiln while allowing the pallet carriage to roll on a rail in a transfer equipment, which is arranged to allow the pallet carriage loaded with a material being treated to move in a direction intersecting a carry-out direction from the tunnel kiln.
SOLUTION: When a pallet carriage 51 is pushed out of a tunnel kiln for baking of facing panels for buildings in a similar manner to a billiard ball and moved onto a connection rail, an electric motor for a telescopic mechanism mounted on a transfer equipment 5 is actuated to extend an intermediate arm 8 and a pick arm 9. Subsequently, a lift base 7 is raised to interpose a hook 9a between stile frames 51b of the pallet carriage 51, and then the telescopic mechanism is contracted to transfer the pallet carriage 51 to guide rails 6a, 6b. Then the electric motor 5d is driven to have the transfer equipment 5 travelling on a carry-out rail 3c short of a predetermined skid to transfer the transfer equipment to the skid.
