Abstract:
To securely retry transferring a cargo when interference between a support plate and the cargo causes interruption of transfer operation.SOLUTION: A device transfers a cargo W by moving the cargo W in a longitudinal direction by a hand 23. A transfer table 27 supports a bottom surface of the cargo W. A transfer table drive device 29 drives the transfer table 27 in the longitudinal direction with respect to a hand base 25. A suction device 31 sucks a side surface of the cargo W. An air cylinder 35 drives the suction device 31 in a vertical direction with respect to the hand base 25. A clearance sensor 36 perceives presence/absence of the cargo W. A controller 51 executes steps of making the suction device 31 suck the side surface of the cargo W, making an air cylinder 35 lift the suction device 31 which sucks the cargo W, making the clearance sensor 36 perceive the presence/absence of interference between the cargo W and the transfer table 27, and returning the cargo W to an original position when the interference is perceived by the clearance sensor 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
