PURPOSE: To form an original transfer image on a material to be transferred easily at low cost by a method wherein an ink image is formed on an adhesive having a thermally fusible characteristic, an ink image is formed by transferring the ink image together with cement onto a material to be transferred by heating and pressurizing, and a flocked fabric sheet is stuck fast onto the adhesive to flock by heating and pressurizing again.

CONSTITUTION: A required transfer image is inputted with a thermal transfer type recorder. A heating element 16 provided to a thermal head 15 is heated based on an input signal, and ink is thermally transferred onto a hot melt adhesive 14 of a transfer sheet 10 from an ink ribbon 17 to form an transfer image on the transfer sheet 10. A transfer sheet 20 is composed by forming a transfer image 21 of required character, graphic, etc., on the transfer sheet 10, and the transfer image 21 is transferred by heating and pressurizing 31 from a sheet rear surface by making the transfer image 21 part face a hot melt adhesive 32 on a material 30 to be transferred. The transfer image 21 sticks a flocked fabric sheet onto a formed transfer image 41 at a specific part, and a flocked transfer image 42 is formed by heating and pressurizing again.
