PURPOSE: To permit a compact structure arrangeable without enlarging a turret by a method wherein a bullet tray and a charge tray are provided so as to be moved at the rear side area of a recoil body and the rear area of the recoil body.

CONSTITUTION: A bullet or a charge is inserted into respective trays 8, 9 from the rear side of a turret respectively. Then, a cradle 7 is swung upward or downward so as to become same as the firing angle of a gun and is positioned at a waiting position. Then, the bullet tray 8 and the charge tray 9 are swung leftward simultaneously and the bullet tray 8 is positioned at a bullet delivery position coaxial with a bullet loading tray 6, then, a shutter 8c is opened to shift the bullet, retained by the bullet tray 8, into the bullet loading tray 6. On the other hand, the charge tray 9 is positioned at a charge loading starting position above the axial line 5e of the gun, then, bent chain is driven forward and the charge, retained by the charge tray 9, is shifted by the head of a tip end whereby the charge is shifted or loaded into a bore 5d of the gun.
