Abstract:
To provide a transfer method and a transfer apparatus for separating a functional layer provided on a substrate from the substrate and transferring the separated functional layer to a film or the like.SOLUTION: A transfer method comprises a step of, in a state where a laminate having an adhesive layer and a film is placed with the film closer to a release roller and the adhesive layer of the laminate is laminated on a functional layer formed on a substrate, separating the functional layer from the substrate and transferring the functional layer on the laminate by moving the substrate relatively to the release roller in a moving direction orthogonal to a rotation axis of the release roller during which the laminate is conveyed along the release roller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
