PURPOSE: To rapidly carry out the close bonding work of a transfer sheet by a method wherein a substrate is bonded to an object while the transfer sheet is rewound around a roll and drawn out of the roll and the transfer sheet is again rewound while a cutting character is transferred to the object.

CONSTITUTION: Since the transfer sheet 22 rewound around a roll 20 is tightly wound and hardened, the keeping and feed thereof are easily carried out and the transfer sheet is hard to damage. The roll 20 is fed to window glass 30 and the transfer sheet 22 is drawn out of the roll 20 while a seal 22a is peeled off and pressed to the outer surface of the window glass 30 by the roll 20. By this method, the alphabet on the transfer sheet 22 is bonded to the window glass 30. The roll 20 is moved to the right while rotated in the clockwise direction until the transfer sheet is sufficiently bonded to the window glass 30. When the roll 20 is returned in the direction of an initial position while rotated in the counterclockwise direction, the substrate 22b of the transfer sheet 22 is rewound around the roll 20 while a cutting character is left on the window glass and the cutting character is finally transferred to the window glass.
