PURPOSE: To obtain transfer paper for an aluminum enamel product by mixing specific flux with a low m.p. with commercial pigment for glass to obtain printing ink having necessary color and density.
CONSTITUTION: Low m.p. flux is based on sodium, potassium, silicon and boron and characterized by that an alkali component is 30-40wt.%, the coefficient of thermal expansion is 15×10-6 and a yield point is 430-470°C. 20-50 pts.wt. of the low m.p. flux and 50-80 pts.wt. of commercial pigment for glass are mixed to obtain prepared pigment. Next, 60-80 pts.wt. of an acrylic printing medium thermally decomposed at 380°C or lower is kneaded with 100 pts.wt. of the prepared pigment to obtain printing ink. A pattern is formed on water absorbable cardboard by screen printing using the printing ink and an acrylic cover coat film thermally decomposed at 350°C is printed on the cardboard to obtain transfer paper.
