PURPOSE: To carry out a stable loading of transfer paper without damaging the ink surface and edges of the transfer paper by providing a winding roll with a larger length than the width of transfer paper, and forming a supporting part which allows entry of a drawout member.
CONSTITUTION: A transfer paper cartridge 1 consists of a transfer paper storage part 2 and a recording paper storage part 3 formed in one piece. Grooves are provided at an interval L on part of the inner wall of the transfer paper storage part 2 for loading a transfer paper roll. Both ends of a transfer paper feed roll 7 are arranged in the groove 4, and both ends of a transfer paper winding roll 8 are arranged in the groove 5. A slight clearance (supporting part) is present between both ends of transfer paper 6 and the inner wall part on both sides of the transfer paper storage part 2. The lengths of the feed roll 7 and the winding roll 8 in the axial core direction are fixed so that a lever 16 as a draw-out member can be introduced into this clearance. The stable loading of the transfer paper is ensured by the supporting part.
