TRANSFER PRINTING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3402540
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To avoid forgeries of photographs, characters, etc., of passports or the like.
CONSTITUTION: An image 5 of a photograph or characters, etc., is transferred onto a printing paper 1, on which a protecting laminate layer 2 formed of a transparent film with an adhesive layer 4 applied thereto is heated and pressured, thereby to bond the laminated layer 2 with the printing paper 1 and image 5. If one tries to detach the protecting laminate layer 2 or cut the printing paper 1 out from the rear side of the protecting laminate layer 2, the image 5 is cut thereinside as indicated by A1, A2. In this manner, forgeries of photographs and characters are prevented.
