Abstract:
To provide an indirect transfer printing method forming a printed image on a printing object by using a transfer foil and an intermediate transfer medium, in which a transfer foil having an ink layer containing a fluorescent pigment is used and forgery prevention function is enhanced.SOLUTION: There is provided a transfer printing method having a first transfer printing process for forming a printed image by transferring an ink layer F containing a fluorescent pigment of the transfer foil 1 onto an image receiving layer 23 of an intermediate transfer medium 2, and a second transfer printing process for layering the intermediate transfer medium on a printing object 3 and transferring the image receiving layer to the print object together with the printed image, in which convexoconcave scattering visible light is formed on at least a part of boundary surface of boundary surfaces between the ink layer and the image receiving layer together with transferring the ink layer in the first transfer printing process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
