PURPOSE: To increase the transfer efficiency of conductive magnetic toner and reduce the running cost, by using an ordinary paper having printed on the entire surface as the transfer paper.
CONSTITUTION: An optical image is radiated by an exposure device 4, and an electrostatic latent image 11 is formed on the surface of a photoconductor 2 on a drum 1. This electrostatic latent image 11 is developed in a conductive magnetic toner developing bath 5, and a negatively charged toner image 12 is formed. Then, applying a positive voltage to a conductive rubber roller 7, the negatively charged toner image 12 is transferred on the transfer paper 6. At this time, the printing ink printed on the transfer paper 6 serves as an insulator, so that the toner image 12 may be easily transferred onto the transfer paper 6 without leaking the charge of the toner 12. Thus, the transfer efficiency is increased.
