Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable peeling in a short time by a wet transfer system and to ensure satisfactory bonding property to a body, to which an image is transferred, by successively laminating a peelable layer based on a water-soluble resin, a binder layer, which exhibits tackiness and/or adhesiveness when heated and an image retaining layer on a water permeable substrate.
SOLUTION: A peelable layer based on a water-soluble resin, a binder layer which exhibits tackiness and/or adhesiveness when heated and an image retaining layer which forms an image are successively laminated on a water permeable substrate. The binder layer is based on a delayed tack tackifier, which exhibits tackiness when heated or a hot-melt adhesive which, exhibits adhesiveness when heated and the coating weight of the binder layer is preferably 0.1-30 g/m2 on dry basis. The water-soluble resin is preferably based on PVA having ≤90% saponification degree and a polymn. degree of ≤1,000. The image retaining layer is based on vinyl acetate resin.
