PURPOSE: To prevent wrinkles in a film at a molded part from developing and at the same time make the transfer to the molded part possible by a method wherein a transfer film, which is pinched between a stripper plate and the joint surface of a female mold, is pressed into the female mold with a male mold and then resin is injected between both the molds.
CONSTITUTION: The tip part 7a of a male mold 7, which protrudes from the joining end surface 8a of a stopper plate in combination with a clamp 8, presses a transfer film F into the recess 2 of a female mold 1 by pressingly extending the film F. The transfer film F is confined in a gap between the protruded end surface 7b of the tip part 7a of the male mold 7 and the inner surface of the recess 2 of the female mold 1 and the thickness of the gap is set in response to the thickness of a resin molded part. Next, when resin is forced from a nozzle 16 into the resin feeder 15 leading to the male mold 7, the resin R injected in the gap presses the transfer film F against the inner surface of the recess 2 of the female mold so as to fill the gap, resulting in transferring characters and the like on the transfer film F to the surface of the resin.
