Title:
TRANSFER OF SURFACE PATTERN OF CLOTH TO POLYVINYL CHLORIDE LEATHER AND SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2984782
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the pattern of a cloth to be easily transferred to a vinyl surface at a low cost by applying a cloth to a polyvinyl chloride leater or a polyvinyl chloride sheet which is heated, and passing it through a gap between the pressing rolls to transfer the surface pattern of the cloth to the surface of the vinyl material.
SOLUTION: A vinyl web 1 is passed and pressed, with a cloth 5, between a gap between pressing rolls 6, lover the softening of the vinyl web 1 by a heater 2 and a heating drum 4, so that the pattern of the cloth 5 is transferred to the vinyl web 1. In this operation, the pressing roll 6 is replaced with an engraving roll with an uneven face, and thereby, the vinyl web 1 has a pattern of a cloth and further, a surface pattern added with an engraved uneven figure. After the transfer of the pattern of a cloth under pressure, the vinyl web 1 is cooled by a cooling drum, and is separated from the cloth 5. Next, the vinyl web 1 and the cloth 5 are wound around tape-up rolls respectively, and the cloth 5 is reused. The pattern-transferred vinyl web 1 has an appearance as almost natural as the cloth 5.
