PURPOSE: To efficiently remove waterdrops stuck to bagged food when cooling is applied after heating sterilization by a method wherein vibration is given to a belt carrying the bagged food in forward movement by moving the belt up and down while making it collided with a pressing member provided to the underside of the transfer surface of the belt.
CONSTITUTION: Bagged food or the like undergoes water cooling immediately after heating sterilization is applied. Waterdrops stuck to the package bag by the water cooling are removed with a transfer treatment device. The transfer treatment device is constructed in such that a belt 3 made up of meshes is stretched between a pair of rollers 1 and 2 positioned at a suitable distance and is wound round the rollers for circular movement. The roller 1 on one side is supported with a shaft on a position higher than that of the other roller 2, and thereby the transfer surface 4 of the belt 3 is made in upgrade slope. A netted plate 6 functioning as a pressing member is provided to the center of the underside of the belt 3 for giving vibrations to the belt 3. Rotary wheels 11 are provided on the front and the rear of the netted plate 6, and each three rollers 12-14 is supported with each of the shafts of the rotary wheels 11 through each of three arms, and thereby the belt 3 is moved up and down.
