A surface roller 18 is driven with a transfer motor 22. The surface roller 18 is cooperated with a press roller 19 to pull a woven fabric W toward the side of a cloth roller 21. A transfer motor 22 for pulling the woven fabric W is controlled with the signals of a transfer control computer C2. The transfer control computer C2 reversely rotates the transfer motor 22 on the basis of the ON signal of a backward transfer switch 33. The transfer control computer C2 further positively rotates the transfer motor 22 on the basis of the ON signal of a forward transfer switch 34. Therein, the transfer motor 22 is reversely rotated at a larger transfer velocity V1 than a weaving velocity V0, or positively rotated at a larger transfer velocity V2 than the weaving velocity V0.
