CONSTITUTION: A pair of rollers 5, 5 energized by a spring 8 presses an object 3 to be checked against a disk turntable 6. The rollers 5 are rotated with such a constant angle θ to an advancing direction of the outer peripheral surface of the table 6 in contact with the object 3 so that the surfaces of the rollers make an uphill. Accordingly, a force to press the object 3 onto a stage 2 is generated and the object 3 can be held positively. The table 6 is continuously rotated at a constant speed, thereby making it possible to rotate the object 3 around the axial center of the table 6. At this time, the holding position of the object 3 by the table 6 and rollers 5, 5 is made low to hold the object 3 near the bottom part thereof. Therefore, if the object 3 is a vial or the like with a small quantity of contents and it is necessary to inspect the bottom part of the object 3, it is easily satisfied.
