PURPOSE: To freely transfer a work between the trays with the works rectilinearly arranged thereto and the trays with the works arranged in a ring-shape by successively connecting the side parts of a plurality of holding members for inserting and holding the works while utilizing the hinges.

CONSTITUTION: A work such as a crystal resonator is inserted into a holding member 11 and held. A plurality of holding member 11 are connected in the side parts thereof by the hinges 12. The works are inserted into these holding members 11 and held with good workability in such a state that a plurality of holding members 11 are adjacently arranged zigzag with the intervals P2 via the hinges 12. Then the holding members 11 are stretched from the rectilinear arrangement and arranged with the intervals P1 and thereafter the works are attached to the ring-shaped trays and vapor deposition of the works is performed. Thereby the works are held with good workability and can be treated without causing both sticking of the foreign matters to the works and deformation of the works.
