PURPOSE: To permit correct and efficient superposing work for expand metal by transferring expand metal one by one in succession by a transfer flat-car and arranging said expand metal in the longitudinal and transverse directions by a pitch feed stopper and a side stopper, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: An expand metal which is produced in the preceding process and cut 2 into a certain size is transferred along a slide rail 1, and when the top edge part of the expand metal is loded onto a transfer flat-car 4, said metal is guided by a group 6 of guide rolls on the flat-car 4 and set into a certain situation and stopped. When a wheel 11 is driven by a motor 8, the flat-car 4 travels leftward by a certain distance along a rail 5. When a stopper 16 is advanced by a certain amount through turning of a feed screw 15 by a pitch feeding motor 14, the expand metal is retreated by a certain length. Then, a side stopper is advanced by the operation of a linear head 17b, and the position in the direction of width of the expand metal is corrected, and said expand metal is dropped onto a conveyor base 18 and collected.
