To provide a transflective film capable of being prodduced in simple process with an excellent mass-productivity and having high forming accuracy, and to provide its production method and a liquid crystal display device equipped with the transflective film.
In the case of forming the transflective film on the back surface side of a liquid crystal display panel, a heating element constituting a thermal transfer printing head is made to generate heat while a thermal transfer ribbon is pressed to the back surface side of the liquid crystal display panel. The heating element is controlled so that the pattern of an aperture may be printed. The part of the thermal transfer ribbon facing heat generation pins out of the heating element is thermally transferred to the back surface side of the liquid crystal display panel, and the part facing heat non-generation pins is not thermally transferred.
