Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare human immunity interferon protein, by cloning human I-IFN gene using a genetic engineering technique, and transferring the resultant recombinant DNA molecule to a host to manifest the humanI-IFN gene.

CONSTITUTION: Transformed Escherichia coli 294/pHIT trp 2101 containing pure human immunity interferon protein obtained by a genetic engineering technique and a DNA having a base sequence coding the human immunity interferon, is cultured, and the obtained liquid containing the human immunity interferon protein is purified by the use of a monoclonal antibody bonding to the human immunity interferon.
