Abstract:
To provide a transgenic animal stably including a more perfect IgV gene germline (particularly, having a germline Vλ sequence).
A transgenic animal having one or more human λ light chain loci is provided. A method and a composition for making the transgenic animal having the human λ light chain loci are also provided. A method of using and a composition containing the human λ light chain loci and derived from the transgenic animal are further provided. The human λ light chain loci contain ≥60%, preferably ≥70% or ≥80%, more preferably ≥90% or ≥95%, and further preferably 100% or approximately 100% human λ light chain variable region gene.
