Abstract:

To obtain a transition metal complex, an olefin polymerization catalyst, and to provide a method for producing an olefin polymer.

The transition metal complex is represented by formula (1) (wherein M is an element of the group 6 in the periodic table; R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, and R8 are the same or different and each hydrogen, a halogen, a 1-10C alkyl group which may be substituted, or the like; R9 and R10 are the same or different and each hydrogen, a halogen, a 1-10C alkyl group which may be substituted, or the like; and (n) is 0 or 1; X1s are the same or different and each hydrogen, a halogen, a 1-10C alkyl group which may be substituted, or the like; and (n) is 0 or 1).
