PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of a moire pattern by making the direction of a linear non-emitting area of a linear fresnel lens sheet which condenses the light emitting from an image projector different from the direction of the black stripe of a lenticular lens with each other.
CONSTITUTION: In a projecting screen, the direction of the linear non-emitting area of the linear fresnel lens 4c can be slidable toward the linear direction of the black stripe of the lenticular lens. For instance, the fresnel angle 1 and 2 of the linear fresnel lens 4c are set at 135° and 45° respectively viewed from the opposite light source side. When this type of linear lens is used, the non-emitting area is in the form of a grid having the fresnel angles 1 and 2. Therefore, the angle of the linear non-emitting area never interferes with that of the non-parallel slit black stripe, so that the occurrence of moire pattern is suppressed.
