Abstract:
To provide a transmission belt manufacturing method excellent in abrasion resistance for a rubber flat pulley contact surface.SOLUTION: A transmission belt manufacturing method comprises: preparing an uneven surface of woven fabric 422b formed of warp Wa and weft We as a molding surface; pressure-welding a non-crosslinking rubber composition to the molding surface to transfer the uneven surface; and crosslinking the non-crosslinking rubber composition to mold a rubber flat pulley contact surface. The uneven surface of the woven fabric 422b as the molding surface is configured such that in unit texture of the woven fabric 422b, a total area of recess parts is wider than a total area of projection parts, where the recess parts and projection parts constitute the uneven surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
