PURPOSE: To efficiently perform transfer by generating an additional transfer route table(TRT) by an additional transfer start station, and performing the transfer sequentially to the next destination in the table similarly by a destination station by reporting an additional transfer mode by calling the first destination in the table and transferring image information.

CONSTITUTION: Facsimile equipment FXa as an origin generates the table (TRT) to form the route of additional transfer, and reports additional transfer identification information by calling facsimile equipment FXb that is the first destination, and transmits the table TRT and transfer image information PFa. The facsimile equipment FXb calls facsimile equipment FXc designated as the destination next to its own terminal in the table TRT, and reports the additional transfer identification information reported from the equipment FXa, and transmits received TRT, PFa, and PFb. The facsimile equipment FXc transfers them to the next destination similarly. In such a way, the image information is transferred sequentially, to the destination designated in the table TRT. Therefore, the operation of slip tabulation, etc., can be performed periodically by one time of additional transfer function.
