To provide a transmission device capable of ensuring enough space for mounting other components around a heat-generating component to which the heat sink is pressed and a plug-in unit.SOLUTION: The transmission device has a plug-in unit 20 that includes: a first board 22 on which heat-generating components 221 are arranged; a heat sink 25 placed on heating element; a second board 27 placed above the surface of the first board where the heat-generating components are arranged; and a pressing mechanism 30 that presses the heat sink to the heating components arranged on the first board from the second substrate side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
