Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a position deviation of a power reception unit relative to a power transmission unit in a power transmission system for contactless power transmission from a power transmission device to a power reception device.SOLUTION: A power transmission unit 130 is configured to output AC power supplied from a power supply unit 110 to a power reception unit 210 in a contactless manner. An impedance matching unit 120 is provided between the power supply unit 110 and the power transmission unit 130. An ECU 160 detects a position deviation of the power reception unit 210 relative to the power transmission unit 130 on the basis of the power transmission state from the power transmission unit 130 to the power reception unit 210. Before the execution of the position deviation detection, the ECU 160 adjusts the impedance of the impedance matching unit 120 on the basis of the load information of a vehicle 200 received by a communication unit 170 from the vehicle 200.
