Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission-line coding method and decoding method that enable the correct detection of symbols during reception, without picking up the identical symbols continuously under multiple-value signal transmission, even when there is a difference in the voltage levels between transmitter-receivers.
SOLUTION: More signal levels than the number of the symbols to transmit is provided. Under transmission, the symbols to transmit are encoded to signal levels other than the signal levels encoded just before. Under reception, regenerating synchronization is taken based on the difference of the received signal levels and the signal levels received just before, and the symbols are decoded based on the signal levels received just before.
