Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the inadvertent switching that is caused in a path switching second by adding the switching information in response to the switching and inhibiting the switching of a selection state in response to detection of the switching information in a system which receives the output obtained after the switching of a transmission line as the paths of two systems of redundant constitution and includes a means which alternatively derives both paths.
SOLUTION: A selection part 1 switches the switching sections of a transmission line and this switching information is added to the signals of two systems via an adding part 13. In the phase compensating periods 21 and 22 of the receiving part of a path switching section, the phase matching is performed at a transmitting part by the signals received from both systems and based on the added phase information. Then a selector 25 performs the switching of paths based on the path alarms which are detected by the alarm detectors 23 and 24. A switching information detection part 26 detects the switching information from the signals of both systems and inhibits the switching of the selector 25 by a path switching inhibition signal.
