Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a permeable membrane with excellent bio-compatibility and high safety by using a poly(etheramide) resin with a repeating structural unit of a specified structural formula and specified mean mol.wt., equivalent no. of a terminal amino group and equivalent no. of a terminal carboxylic group.
CONSTITUTION: A poly(etheramide) resin with a repeating structural unit of formula I or II, a mean mol.wt. of about 10,000-100,000, an equivalent no. of the terminal amino group ([NH2]μeq/g) of at most 40 and in a range of [COOH] ≥[NH2]+5 to the equivalent no. of the terminal carboxylic group ([COOB]μeq/ g) is used. In the formulas, R1, R2 and R3 are each a 2-4C linear or branched alkylene group; R4, R5 and R6 are each a 2-24C linear or branched alkylene group; n, m and X are respectively an integer of 0-180, 1-400 and 0 or 1.
