Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the device scale and to decrease a time until re- synchronization establishment in the case of occurrence of many cyclic redundancy check errors at call connection or during data transmission.
SOLUTION: Transmission data of a B-channel from an S-point interface section 12 are always monitored through a pre-stage bit separate section 15, a pre-stage counter 16, a post-stage bit separate section 17 and a post-stage counter 18. The pre-stage bit separate section 15 separates pre-stage 4-bits of transmission data of the B-channel and gives them to the pre-stage counter 16. The pre-stage counter 16 counts consecutive bits '1', the post-stage bit separate section 17 separates the pre-stage 4 bits the transmission data of the B-channel and the post-stage counter 18 counts consecutive bits '1', and a control section 11 discriminates the consecutive bits '1' of the pre-stage 4 bits and the post-stage 4 bits. The control section 11 controls a PIAFS protocol conversion section 13 so as to instruct PIAFS protocol conversion, where data transmission corresponds to a transmission rate of 32 kbps or 64 kbps.
