PURPOSE: To attain the collection processing of information required for all monitorings flowing through a transmission line by coping with a transmission medium input/output interface section itself by means of an information transfer section or a high speed switch section sharing copy information corresponding to a storage section.
CONSTITUTION: One kind of information separated by a copy function section 3 is sent as it is from a transmission medium input/output interface section 2 to a transmission line 1 and the other separated information is outputted to an information transmission section 6 as copy information. After a common control section 7 detects the transfer of information to the information transfer section 6, the section 7 decides a standby storage section 4 or 5. The information transfer section 6 transfers output information from the transmission medium input/output interface section 2 to the storage section 5. Thus, the collection is implemented efficiently without losing the information transmission delay and capability in the transmission line even in a collection device such as the storage section 4, 5 having a low speed information collection processing capability with respect to the transmission speed capability of the transmission line 1 thereby reducing the system cost.
