Abstract:
To smoothly switch an active system transmission section into a standby system transmission section.
An active system transmission section 10 receives transmission data from an opposite station at its own reception circuit 11 via a hybrid transformer 3. Furthermore, a reception circuit 21 of a standby system transmission section 20 receives the transmission data from the hybrid transformer 3 and provides an output as received data. A comparator 4 compares the received data by the reception circuit 11 of the active system transmission section 10 with the received data by the reception circuit 21 of the standby system transmission section 20 to diagnose soundness of the reception circuit 21 of the standby system transmission section 20.
