Abstract:
PURPOSE: To extremely shorten the time needed for a master station to acquire the data on a slave station that has a state change, etc., even when a message transmission system is basically used.
CONSTITUTION: Both a message transmission method and a polling transmission method are available and then identified from each other by the pulse width of the signal sent from a master station 1. That is, the station 1 uses the signal having the pulse width different from that of the signal used for the message transmission system as a polling pulse signal. A slave station 2 monitors the pulse width of the signal sent from the station 1 and decides the message or polling transmission method based on the monitored pulse width.
