Abstract:

To update an initial value in performing scrambling while implementing fine service protection in an MMT layer, in constructing a broadcast system by using MMT.SOLUTION: A transmitter 1 constructs an MMTP packet by using a content and a control message and sets a packet identifier and a packet sequence number into a header of the MMTP packet, and scrambles a payload of the MMTP packet with a scramble key by using a generated initial counter value to be transmitted. A receiver 3 generates an initial counter value by using a packet identifier and a packet sequence number acquired from a header of an MMTP packet extracted from an IP packet, and extracts a content from the MMTP packet by descrambling the MMTP packet with the scramble key by using the initial counter value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
