In a receiver 2, #1 and #2 demodulating circuits 22 remove carrier wave components having a frequency received from a transmitter 1 through #1 and #2 BPF 21, and output Manchester-encoded demodulated signals 11h and 12h. Then, #1 and #2 Manchester decoding circuits 23 output code rule violation detection signals 14h and 16h from demodulated signals outputted by the #1 and #2 demodulating circuits 22, and Manchester decoded signals 13h and 15h. Then, #1 and #2 AND circuits 24 output decoded signals 17h and 18h for turning the signal level of the part with a signal error of the Manchester decoded signals 13h and 15h into '0' based on the code rule violation detection signals 14h and 16h. An OR circuit 25 synthesizes the decoded signals 17h and 18h.
