To obtain antistatic properties, barrier properties against steam and oxygen and crack resistance by a structure wherein a gas barrier layer consisting of a barrier transparent inorganic layer and a barrier resin coating layer is formed in the order named on a transparent board and at least one transparent electrically conductive layer on the board.
The gas barrier layer 4 in a transparent electrically conductive barrier film is obtained by combining a transparent inorganic layer 2 and a barrier resin coating layer 3. Concretely, the inorganic layer 2 and the barrier resin coating layer 3 are so constituted as to be formed in the order named on the surface of a transparent film board 1. As the inorganic matter constituting the inorganic layer 2, tin oxide, indium oxide or silicon oxide is preferable. As the barrier resin used for the barrier resin coating layer 3, a vinylidene chloride-based copolymer and an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer are exampled.
