PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of a product by enabling the enhancement of working efficiency or the reduction in installation cost, by applying a film to the surface of a mark formed to the back surface of a transparent substrate in an embossed pattern.
CONSTITUTION: As a method for forming a protruded mark on the bach surface in a product of a transparent substrate, a hot stamping method is used. A heated mark shaped presse mold is pressed to a transfer sheet to which a release layer, a thin metal layer with a desired thickness or a color pigment layer with a desired thickness and an adhesive layer are formed. By this method, an embossed mark pattern is formed on the back surface of said substate. The thickness of this mark is appropriately selected in due regard to design effect such as three- dimensional feeling or hardness of peeling. Further, a film 4 is formed to thus formed mark and the back surface of the transparent substrate 1 by packing coating to obtain a product 5. As the transparent substrate, various glasses having a proper thickness or a plate or film of a usually used resin such as a polystyrene resin, a polyvinyl chloride resin or a polyacrylate resin are used in a desired size.
