Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent optical device structure including a variable type polymer material in which desired optical and mechanical characteristics are combined, used for an adjustable assembly.SOLUTION: A transparent optical device structure includes: at least one deformable lens body; a transparent flexible cover material that is mounted onto a surface of the at least one deformable lens body in a state of having mechanical stability; and an actuator for forming the deformable transparent cover material into a desirable shape. The actuator is located on the surface of the deformable transparent cover material. The desired shape is defined by arrangement patterns of the actuator and a magnitude of a voltage acting on each arrangement pattern of the actuator.
