Abstract:
To provide a technology that ensures a stable transport quality in a transport device that transports a medium.SOLUTION: To intermittently transport a medium, the transport device repeats: steps (S13 to S17) where a predetermined feeding amount of the medium is transported by a transporting part and a winding part with the medium being slack between the transporting part and the winding part; steps (S20 to S21) where predetermined tension is imparted to the medium between the transporting part and the winding part by normally rotating a winding motor with predetermined torque in accordance with the winding external diameter of the medium wound on the winding roller; and a step (S22) where the medium imparted with the predetermined tension is slackened by a predetermined slackening amount by reversely rotating the winding motor. A controller determines the predetermined amount of tension in accordance with the width of the media intersecting with each other in the transport direction (S19).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
