Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent machine chips from being piled up at the guide pipe of a wire electrode and jet stream water in the guide pipe from advancing into the winding up device of the wire electrode.
CONSTITUTION: Constitution is made by equipping a wire electrode guide portion 3 to change the direction of a wire electrode W that has passed a lower portion nozzle 23 to a horizontal direction along a guide roller 17 by means of a pressure fluid, the 1st fluid jetting portion 5 to remove machine chips attached to the wire electrode W, the 2nd fluid jetting portion 7 to give the wire electrode W that has passed the 1st fluid jetting portion 5 thrust that is directed in its travel direction, a guide pipe 9 to guide a jet stream and the wire electrode W, and a fluid recovery portion 11 that consists of a suction portion 15 and a clewatering portion 13 to carry out the dewatering of the wire electrode W that has passed the guide pipe 9.
