Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device (1).SOLUTION: A transport device (1) comprises: a transport element (2) extending in a circulation type wide range forming a transport zone (10) having a transport face, and a return zone (11); a front head end part zone (12) in which the transport element (2) is deviated from the transport zone (10) to the return zone (11) in the movement direction of the transport element (2); and a brake device (3) for applying a brake effect to the driven transport element (2). The brake device (3) has a brake face (4) which may contact and fit to the transport element (2), the brake face (4) applies a brake effect to the driven transport element (2) at least partially by slide friction with the transport element (2). The brake device (3) is designed and arranged in a manner of applying the brake effect to the transport element (2) on outside of the front head end part zone (12) and outside of the transport zone (10). The brake face (4) is designed to be curved essentially (especially, evenly curved as an arc), and covered by a part of the transport element (2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
