Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a transport device for two places with different levels and make the transport smooth by furnishing a rail connecting the points of level difference with a carrier driven by a liner motor, interposing roller between the carrier and the rail, and maintaining constant the air gap of the linear motor. CONSTITUTION:The primary coil 15a of a linear motor 15 is mounted on the inner side of a carrier 6, and a reaction plate of Al 15b as the secondary side of the linear motor 15 mounted on the outer side of a rail 2. Guides 13 installed at the oversurface and undersurface of this rail 2 are pinched by a pair of rollers 16 supported by the carrier 6, and the air gap A between the coil 15a and reaction plate 15b is held constant. This constitution simplifies the structure of the carrier and accomplishes smooth transportation.
