PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport pipe with an abrasion detection function relating to a transport pipe for transporting abrasive substance, and configured to detect an angle range of a portion where abrasion of the transport pipe progresses with respect to the periphery of a pipe axis; a method of manufacturing the transport pipe; an abrasion detection method; and an operation method of the transport pipe.SOLUTION: A transport pipe is used for transporting slurry obtained by mixing abrasive substance and liquid, or the abrasive substance. Inside an inner pipe of the transport pipe, or at an outer periphery and inside of the inner pipe, a plurality of abrasion detection lines A-D is arranged according to an angle range around a pipe axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
