Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance assisting device and a conveyance assisting method, by which an object to be conveyed can be easily and precisely positioned with respect to a target position without relying on the skill of an operator.SOLUTION: A conveyance assisting device assists in a positioning operation performed such that, when an object to be conveyed is coupled to a lifting jig connected to a crane is conveyed to a target position, a guide pin provided at the target position is inserted in a guide bush. The relative position of the guide pin with respect to the guide bush is detected by a detecting section. On the basis of the result of the detection, a positional relation with respect to the target position for the object to be conveyed is calculated.
